About the College
Dispur Law College was established in the year 1993. It started functioning on 1st February 1994 at Gopal Boro Govt. H.S. School, Dispur. With land donated by Smti Madhuri Das and Sri Dalim Chandra Pathak, the college constructed its own building beside the historic Secretariat Building. The foundation stone was laid by the then CM, Late Hiteswar Saikia on 9th March 1995.
Over the decades, the college has risen as a top legal education institute in Northeast India. With a visionary faculty, committed alumni, and strategic location, it continues to shine under Gauhati University.
