Short Bio

" Dr. Suranjana Kalita has been awarded the Ph. D. by the Gauhati University in the Faculty of Law in the year 2018 for her thesis, ""Role of Non-Governmental Organizations relating to the Welfare of Children in the City of Guwahati : A Legal Study"". Her area of interest includes Criminal Law, Human Rights, Environmental Law, Jurisprudence, Criminal Jurisprudence and Research Methodology etc. Her research interest circumscribes Criminal Jurisprudence, Comparative Criminal Law, Criminal Sociology, Human Rights, Criminal Justice System, Victimology, Criminology, Environmental Laws, International Criminal Court system, Human Trafficking, Child Rights, Cyber Crime Laws etc. She has published 2(two) research papers having ISSN No.and 3(three) chapters in Edited Books having ISBN No. She has presented 7 (seven) Seminar Papers, including 3(three) International Seminar and 4(four) National Seminars. She has successfully completed 2 (two) Refresher Courses, 4(four) Faculty Development Programmes, 5(five) Teachers' Training Programmes, 5 (five) Workshops, 2(two) Symposiums, 1 (one) International Conclaves. Furthermore, she has participated in 23 (twenty three) International/ National/ State level webinars and Weekend Online Lecture Series on different topics."
