Short Bio

Dr Plabita Saikia is presently working as Assistant Professor (Law) in Dispur Law College Guwahati and is having 10 years of teaching experience in different capacities at Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya, BRM Govt Law College Guwahati and Gauhati University Law College Guwahati. Her PhD research is related to migration in Assam and presently she is involved with a collaborative project sponsored by Ministry of Ayush Govt of India related to IPR of indigenous knowledge and medicinal plants. She has done several trainings and participated in many International and national seminar and conferences.
